Convention Circuit Beginnings: Pensacola Pensacon 2017
Pensacola Pensacon (February 17-19th 2017) marked an awesome beginning to Peter Zimmerman's convention circuit. One word to describe this con-- EPIC! This was Peter's FIRST-EVER convention and it definitely set the the bar of the 'convention world' for our team. We were overwhelmed by how involved the Pensacola community was and how every local business came together to host such a spectacular event. We kicked off our first night in Pensacola with delicious Irish food and drinks at McGuire's Irish Pub and began our stay at the beautiful Courtyard Mariott.
Night two: our Harry Potter obsessed team 'fan-girled' over the awesome Harry Potter themed dinner at Pensacola's Fish House restaurant. Our team enjoyed the restaurant so much that we returned the next night for dinner as well and embarked on a tour of the neighboring restaurant, Atlas Oyster House
and their incredible Stark Trek set-up. There's no doubt that Fish House and Atlas will be noted as a tradition for our future Pensacola visits.
The Pensacon guest list spanned fan favorite genres from horror and scifi to wrestling and comedy. Although Peter was on the guest-list, he and his team couldn't help but to enjoy the event as an attendees as well by visiting his favorite movie and show booths-- Game of Thrones and Stranger Things-- Just to name a few! We would like to give the biggest THANK YOU to the Pensacon team and Pensacola community for treating the Peter Z team to such an unforgettable experience. We are looking forward to our next Pensacon/ Pensacola experience.
